Successful Segamat Trip 21-23 Aug
Something is going on well for Singapore’s skydiving scene past few months already. The 21-23 skydive in Segamat achieve another resounding response from both tandems and fun jumpers. There are altogether 17 sorties made, 11 tandems, and 15 fun jumpers. This is very encouraging trend indeed.

The weather was great, and we get to meet fun jumpers from Pakistan, France, England, Singapore, Thailand and Japan converging onto Segamat. Kelvin the Beng also made a come back after a long lay off.
The Tandem Master was full of experience with 4 of them combined to nearly 15,000 jumps. They are PF the spectacular French, Danniel the lovely Uncle, Peter the methodical one, and Ryan the seriously fun one. I am honor to be in the same plane as Peter and Ryan when they did the tandem.
Ix Shen also made this trip….he was spotted by giggling young girls in Segmat town, and the most beautiful part was he was stopped by Malay girls along the high way even though he was in cap and sunglass.

Our dinner in Segamat town was wonderful and the team full of motivation. Some of us including me had wonderful massage after a hard day’s work.
Among the tandems, Pamelina the shappy one is doing her second tandem, actually is going to be AFF progression. I was told she was happy and therefore I think good chance she will become another fun jumper in no time.
Some Jumpers left on Sat evening and a few could not make it this weekend due to no approvel. I must say this is good balance of skydiving and family.
I know some of you went a long way to negotiate for the family approval for example promising the girl friend shopping spree on Sunday, some promise to do house work…….different jumper adopt difference strategies so I can see that all of you are good strategist! This is an important pre-requisite of a good skydiver you know!

AFF Training
Hotel is low cost but clean and comfortable, even can watch English Premier Leage!
Transportation back and forth are excellent so no one needs to come by bus or train, that’s good!
Overall this is another successful outings, and plenty of fun and above all, we make new friends.
Isn’t life is Great?
